Mitchell area crime update

A suspect has been identified regarding recent burglaries that occurred in Ethan on November 28th.  Mitchell Assistant Police Chief Mike Koster says suspect is also responsible for several burglaries in the Mitchell, including the burglaries that occurred on November 1st in the 800 block of N. Main and November 17th in the 1300 block of West Havens.  Charges are pending. Authorities will release the individual’s name after formal charges are filed.

Two juveniles have been charged regarding vandalisms that occurred on November 29th. Several businesses in the main street area, Joe Quintal Stadium and Mitchell Senior High were spray painted with graffiti.

Meanwhile, 21 year old Tyler Vincent Roubideaux was arrested on November 30th for 1st degree burglary regarding November 27th burglary at a Mitchell residence.  Two guns as well as other property taken during the burglary where recovered.
